My calling is to assist community-based and faith-based organizations with integrity, to find the courage, foster the wisdom, and facilitate the transformational leadership to make their vision a living reality. I bring to this work unique gifts in the areas of communication, corporate discernment, participatory management, appreciative inquiry, conflict resolution, and contemplative leadership. my passion is journeying with organizations beyond the distinctions and differences that divide us culturally, religiously, and socially, to the rich tapestry of our shared human experience.

 Personal Information: Born and raised in Eritrea, East Africa. Working knowledge of 7 languages. Special joys include family intimacy, story telling, and organic gardening. I am passionate about essential peace making and global networking. My inspiration comes from corporate discernment, meditation & prayer, the mountains, cancer warriors and their families, & those with the courage to speak truth to power.

Successful grant applications from federal and foundation sources and appropriation requests.  Initiate partnership among schools in the U.S., Jordan, and Uganda for an innovative Global Classroom Project. Presenter at many national conferences. Network with Hispanic-serving agencies and with American Indian tribes to develop new opportunities for under-served youth.
